Well, were finally moving into the blogging age. We have enjoyed reading everyone else blogs and find this is a great way to see what is going on in each others lives. Now that I have spent an hour setting this up, I better write about what has been going on.
The girls have been sick for the last week, but are on the mend. Alyssa is finally back at school after missing all of last week. Lauren is still recooping, but is getting back to her mischeivious and energetic self. We have run out of ideas for keeping them busy at home and were quite creative. Any new suggestions? We have done everything from painting, making masks, cutting up grocery bags for costumes, making tents, playing games, beading, playing house, reading books and watching movies.
We are anxiously awaiting warmer weather to get outside more. Alyssa is trying to ride her bike without training wheels. She had a spill the last time, so I hope she is not afraid to try again. Lauren is just as determined to try also, but we will have to convince her to wait a year or two. Alyssa would like to try snowboarding this year, but we are not sure if we will make it up the mountain this year. No fear Lauren was actually a little scared about sledding when we were at Eagle Crest. We were surprised as she usually tackles anything with no problem.
I will try to get some pictures up soon. I am trying not to spend too much time on this and facebook, but it is hard.... I better get to my pile of dishes.
